Using putty to ssh into my Drobo5N, I set permissions recursively on all my download directories with this command:Ĭhmod -R 777 /mnt/DroboNAS/Shares/Data/TVĬhmod -R 777 /mnt/DroboNAS/Shares/DroboApps/sabnzbd/dataĬhmod -R 777 /mnt/DroboNAS/Shares/DroboApps/sickbeard/data I’m using a Windows 7 PC to access my Drobo5N. For anyone who’s experiencing the same problem, here’s how I fixed it. Ok, I finally figured out the permissions problem and post-processing is working as it should now. Is there any way around this? Or maybe a really obvious misstep I’m overlooking? This isn’t usually the case with absolute and network paths I’ve tried, but they still don’t work despite the fact that the full folder path is displayed in the field after saving.įor some reason SABnzbd and Sick Beard are unable to traverse outside their own installation folders. SABnzbd doesn’t even accept relative folder paths if they reference any parent folder beyond the installation folder it just returns an empty field after saving changes. I’ve tried some absolute paths, but after post-processing, they end up in some folder with a cryptic name, still inside the same /data path. I haven’t successfully been able to get any file outside the installation path through post-processing due to the folder path. I want completed downloads and such to arrive here after post-processing: mnt/DroboNAS/Shares/DroboApps/sabnzbd/data Using SABnzbd as an example currently its DroboApps directory is located here: ![]() ![]() I have SABnzbd and Sick Beard installed and running without problems, but I’m having trouble changing folder paths in both apps to anything outside the installation folder path.
